Make a cup of rice. If using leftover rice for fried rice, make sure to start with cold rice.
Sautée mushrooms and shallots in butter.
Once shrooms are browned, add flour and cook briefly to make a roux.
Add stock and bring to a boil. Simmer and reduce to a desired gravy consistency.
Season ground beef patties with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Cook over med. high heat in beef tallow.
If making friend rice, cook desired meat (spam, ham, bacon, etc) and veggies (frozen peas, green onions, etc) over high heat in a wok in avacado oil and splash of sesame oil. Add leftover white rice, breaking apart, then drizzle 1-2 Tb dark soy sauce (shoyu) around the sides of the wok, stirring.
Cook eggs as desired, traditional is over easy or sunside up.
Stack burger patties over rice, smother in gravy, and top with egg.
Salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with sliced green onions and furikake.
